Steve Hampson
Hampsons Group / Harlaxton Estates
Having founded, grown, and then sold Hampsons Self Drive Hire in 2007, Steve became actively involved in The Prince’s Trust as Co-Chair for private fundraising in the East Midlands where he met Tim Maxted and they decided to create The Star Trust. Steve continues to be founder and chairman alongside operating his own investment funds.
James Bentley
Charles Bentley and Son
James is a Director of his family business, Charles Bentley and Son, which has been established for over 160 years. The business manufactures and supplies home, garden and leisure products to retailers and consumers across the UK and abroad.
Lisa Cawdron
Roythornes Solicitors
Lisa joined Roythornes Solicitors in 2018 having previously spent more than 20 years in the legal profession in the East Midlands, including many years as a commercial property solicitor. Lisa works closely with the Board in shaping the firm’s long-term strategy for growth.

Wendy is Shipley Structures Managing Director. She is the first female to be appointed to the position of ‘President of The British Constructional Steelwork Association’ in the association’s 110-year history, reflecting her position and standing within the industry.

Alongside being a property executive at Harlaxton Estates, Emma is also the Star Trust administrator and Event Co-Ordinator.

After many years working with some of the UK’s most prestigious food retailers, she has combined her vast industry knowledge to bring unrivaled gifting experiences to major Corporates and online Direct to consumers.

Laura is the Marketing and Business Development Executive for Roythornes Solicitors specialising in social media, events, and content marketing. She provides marketing & event assistance to the Star Trust and has been an active board member.
David Ryley

David established Ryley Wealth Management in 1999, becoming a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society in 2016. He emphasises the importance of giving back and set up the 1% Matters Fund, in which he works with charities and local organisations in and around Nottingham.
