Nine charities from across the East Midlands got a much needed cash boost when they received a total of £42,114 from the Star Trust. Star Trust, itself a charity, which raises money to donate to small to medium sized East Midlands based charities, donated the proceeds from its annual fundraising ball held at Stapleford Park Hotel.
